HeatPumps4Homes were contacted by Mr & Mrs Grove in Epping Essex, as HeatPumps4Homes had been recommended to them as a trusted installer by Mitsubishi.
They were about to start to build their new dream 5-bedroom detatched property in Epping, Essex and had heard about the benefits that using a heat pump to heat the property could offer.
HeatPumps4Homes supplied a quotation to install an air-source heat pump, hot water, cylinder, underfloor heating and high specification radiators.
HeatPumps4Homes worked alongside the onsite builder and other trades to complete the project on time and on budget.
After completing our heat-loss calculations for the property a Mitsubishi 14kw air source heat pump was selected together with a 300 litre hot water cylinder
A new 300 litre high efficiency hot water cylinder was installed in a first floor airing cupboard.
In order to comply with permitted development rights for planning permission, the heat pump was located in the rear garden.
Special highly insulated pipework was laid in a trench at the side of the property to connect the heat pump to the cylinder on the first floor of the property.
HeatPumps4Homes designed and installed underfloor heating throughout the ground floor of the property.
High specification stainless steel radiators were installed to the first floor rooms and bathrooms.
A Mitsubishi wireless thermostat was supplied which easily allows the homeowner to see the current room temperature and to set the desired temperature.
As the thermostat is wireless, it can be located in any suitable position to allow easy monitoring
The main system controller uses the new FTC5 system which is incredibly easy to operate.
Installation of the system was completed in phases working in line with the builder and other on-site trades.
After the underfloor heating was installed, the builder laid the floor screed over it and once dried, the floors were tiled.
After comissioning the syste, a handover pack was supplied to the customer which includes the MCS certificate for the installation, user guides and user manuals etc
A video was also supplied which provides an easy to follow guide on how to operated the new heat pump installation.
Training on how to operate the system was given to Mr and Mrs Grove and of course HeatPumps4Homes remain on hand to answer any questions that they may have in the future.
Mr and Mrs Grove are delighted with the new heat pump installation. They have no hesitation in recommending HeatPumps4Homes to any other customers.
HeatPumps4Homes have also helped them apply for the Renewable Heat Incentive so that they will receive payments for using a heat pump over the next seven years.
